Mrs Hazel Menon has more than 20 years of extensive experience in the beauty industry and armed with a Fitness Leader Certification from ACHPER (N.S.W Branch), The CIDESCO Diploma from Zurich, World Masters Diploma & Aromatherapy Diploma from the United Kingdom, she started organising public programs and seminars on fitness, beauty and health, waxing seminars. These programmes, seminars and talks were organised and conducted for the general public and the professionals from the beauty and health.

In 2006, she started the Immanuel Beauty School (Singapore) with the partnership of CIBTAC, now known as Immanuel Beauty Training Centre. Her beauty school is committed to extend their helping hand to the community by training individuals who may be needy or disadvantaged so that they can provide a livelihood for themselves and their family by being a therapist in the beauty industry These individuals were trained as Beauty Therapists, Make-Up Artists, Nail Technicians, Wax Technicians and Body Masseurs; graduating with the CIBTAC International Diploma (UK). One of the ways that Hazel hopes to do this is to reach out to the youths through schools. For that Hazel was recognized as one of the 3 finalists for the Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2008 for her social commitment to equip many low income women as beauty therapists in Immanuel Beauty School, a social enterprise.

In 2011, she founded WaxXXX Academy, further refining hair removal techniques and researching the right ingredient to improve pre and post care products for waxing. Today, Hazel travels to more than 11 countries in the year to train and equip salon and spa owners and their staff to upgrade their waxing knowledge and with the necessary tools to develop satisfied clientele who would not only return but also refer others to do likewise.
